It’s Sew Easy KC - Hobby Lobby
Saturday, June 8, 12:30 pm - 2 pm
Walker Totes Come learn to sew straight lines, how to make a pocket and sew on velcro! We noticed passengers getting off a senior citizen van without any totes on their walkers........ Totes will be donated to a nursing home or hospital to be determined. If you have someone special who could use the tote, it is yours to give. This event has already occured

About Mission Southside
It is not easy to be poor, hungry, under-dressed and without a home in Johnson County, KS. We are fortunate to have a host of dedicated agencies that work within our community to stand in that gap. Mission Southside has mobilized resources by donating goods and thousands of volunteer hours to help make a difference.
Mission Southside has a neighbor’s heart … a heart that loves Jesus Christ and one that genuinely cares about the needs of others. Mission Southside is not a church, but partners with churches, “helps” organizations, businesses, and individuals to bring hope to Johnson County, KS through the meeting of both physical and spiritual needs.
Our hope is in Jesus Christ, our prayer is that God will be glorified, and our heart is for those in need. We would love to have you join us in that mission.

Mission Adelante
Back to school supplies collection over VBS week, June 23 - 27
Children attending VBS will participate in donation school supplies to bless the children at Mission Adelante as they go back to school.
Backpack packing party will be held on July 11, 1 pm - 3 pm.
