Finding I Am: How Jesus Fully Satisfies the Cry of Your Heart (Women's Study)

What is the deep cry of your heart? That ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it.

Join Lysa TerKeurst on the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Through this interactive, in-depth study, you will learn to:

  • Trade feelings of emptiness and depletion for a more personal fulfillment from knowing who Jesus is.
  • Stop living like a slave to your circumstances by training your heart to embrace the life-giving freedom God wants for you.
  • Gain a better understanding of how Jesus' words 2,000 years ago are so very applicable to the answers we are searching for today.

Begins Sept. 5, 2018, 6:30 pm.

6 sessions.

$15 for materials. Child care available with registration only.

Led by Lori Andersen and Marie Clark, women's ministry coordinator.

Jesus Among Secular Gods: The Countercultural Claims of Christ

The rise of these secular gods presents the most serious challenge to the absolute claims of Christ since the founding of Christianity itself. The Christian worldview has not only been devalued and dismissed by modern culture, but its believers openly ridiculed as irrelevant. Jesus Among Secular Gods, written by apologetic scholars Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale, challenges the popular "isms" of the day, skillfully pointing out the fallacies in their claims and presenting compelling evidence for revealed absolute truth as found in the Bible. This study provides valuable help in articulating why Christians believe that Jesus is who He said He is.

Begins Sept. 5, 2018, 6:30 pm.

6 sessions.

$13 for materials. Child care available with registration only.

Led by Joe Funderburk, senior pastor.
