Assistive Listening Devices Available in Sanctuary

If you or someone you know has trouble hearing during our Sunday morning services, a device is now available for checkout that increases the volume and aids in listening.  You can check out one of these devices at the Sound Booth in the back of the Sanctuary.  They are simple to use.

They will not be a cure for all hearing problems, but may be a good solution for many people.  Simply return the device at the end of the service.  Let the Sound folks or Kenny Warren know how the device worked for you.  There are 5 devices available.

GriefShare - New Semester to Begin May 20

The new semester begins on May 20, 2012, and runs for thirteen weeks, (we are not meeting on June 24). It is open to anyone who needs help after the loss of a loved one to death. There is no cost for the seminar and the books are $15. Please contact DeAnna Lang if you cannot afford a book.

If you know anyone who would be interested or could benefit from this program, take a brochure from the library or contact DeAnna Lang at (913) 687-8496 or dlsngs4jc@yahoo.com.

Grief Share meets Sundays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM (subject to change in order to accommodate participant needs) in Room B-102. This thirteen-week study is open to both church members and the community. You may join this study at any time during the semester. See DeAnna Lang or Roy Dennington for further information.
