Daylight Savings Time begins next Sunday, March 14
It's time to "Spring Forward" and enjoy an extra hour of daylight in the evenings.  Don't forget to set your clocks next Saturday night !!!

High School Seniors/Collegiates/Single Adults Mission Trip Planning Meeting, Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 PM in room D-108
Those interested in a short-term mission trip to New Orleans should attend this meeting to learn the details.  Those going may need to mow lawns, clean houses, or find sponsors for financial assistance.  For more information contact Carlyn Barnette.

Growing Through Divorce begins March 7
Those who have recently experienced divorce or separation  can find useful advice and sympathetic friends in Divorce Recovery.  Classes will begin Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 4 to 6 PM in room B-102.  Contact Carolyn at 913-432-4141 or carolyn@nallave.org if you have questions.

Volunteers Needed to Prepare Snacks each Sunday through Mid-May
Volunteers are needed to prepare snacks for GriefShare and Growing Through Divorce  each Sunday around 5 PM through Mid-May.  Please sign up today to bring cookies/breads (homemade or purchased), trail mix, etc.  Items may be brought on Sunday morning and left in the Single Adult Ministries Office.  

Pizza, Pens, and Phones, March 10 at 5:30 PM
Come for pizza at 5:30 PM and at 6:00 PM we will make phone calls and write postcards to Sunday school members and prospects.  Sign up in Sunday School or at the Welcome desk.   

JOY Luncheon, March 11 at 11:30 PM in the CLC
Our entertainment this month will be Mr. Claude Harkins giving a presentation on "Was George Washington Destined to be our first President."  Mr Harkins has the largest privately held collection of Revolutionary war artifacts in existence and will show many of his best including the oldest known American Flag in existence, Revolutionary war powder horns, and much more.  Bring your favorite potluck dish or pay $4 at the door.  

Ladies Soup 'n' Desert Lunch, Saturday, March 13 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Our guest speaker will be author Sandy Badgett. Look for more information in the February Nall call.  Bring a friend.   

Eggstravaganza Needs Plastic eggs, Individually wrapped candies, and bottles of water (12-20 oz).  
Please leave your donation at the Children's Welcome Desk at the Chapel end of the Central Hall.   The egg hunt will be April 3rd.  

Cozy Corner Story Time, Once a month in NABC Library
March 24, April 7, and May 5 at 6:30 PM.  Preschoolers may come and hear a story read on the selected Wednesdays.  Readers are needed.  If you are willing to read please contact Julie Hooser or Lori Anderson.     

Vacation Bible School Sneak Preview, March 24 at 7:30 PM in the Chapel
Youth and adults are invited to come and see what they will miss if they don't volunteer.

Women's Bible Study Continues Sundays from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
The second session of Beth Moore's latest study, "Esther: It's Tough Being A Woman" continues.  The member workbook is $14.95.  Sign up today.  

Apache Elementary Good News Club is Up and Running
Snacks are needed for the students of this new club each week.  60 awesome kids attended the first club meeting!  If you would like to provide a snack, contact Karen Kessler at 913-888-8831   

Weather Cancellation Policy
Sunday morning activities will never be canceled based on a forecast.   Only actual severe weather will cancel Sunday Services.  For other activities or meetings please check the website or watch the closings on Channel 4, Fox 4 News.

Continuing Study Opportunities

Essential Truth: Knowing Christ Personally, Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
Bob Clark Jr. will lead this 13 week study which looks at who God is in His aspects of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; as well as a number of other topics for every new believer, as well as for those who wish to update their Bible knowledge and understanding.  Room D-108

GriefShare Sundays from 4 - 6 PM in Room B-101
Sessions are on going and may be joined at any time.  Registration Forms are available at the Welcome Desk in the Foyer.  Take one if you are experiencing the grief of loosing a loved one, or for someone you know. 

CiA, Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Room C-200
Children in grades 1 through 6 won't want to miss what's going on.  In addition to studying about missions work in Africa, we will be working on musicals and skits to share with the church family.  

Music Makers, Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Room F-102
For children from 4 years old through Kindergarten.  Join Ms. Linda Kay Oberle and Ms. Nelda Schaffner to praise God through rhythm and song.

Team KID, Sundays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
There are two groups, 3 to 5 year olds, and kindergarten to Sixth graders.  Activities teach life lessons.  

Adult Spanish Class, Sundays at 6:00 PM
Steve Crawford continues to teach the Spanish language and culture for those who want to learn about our Latin brothers and sisters.  The next class will meet on January 10. 2010, after the Christmas and New Years holidays.  

Kids Spanish Class, Sundays at 4:00 PM
Children can learn Spanish and about Spanish Culture in this one hour class each Sunday.  The class ends in time for kids to get to TeamKid at 5 PM.
