Awana meets 6:30-8pm on Wednesdays during the school year (September through May). Children learn Scripture each week, worship through music and wiggly dances, as well as play games. They come away with not only a deeper understanding of the Bible, but also new friendships. Awana is for preschoolers through 8th grade. Registration is always open; sign up anytime.
Children ages 5 through 5th grade learn the fundamentals of cheerleading (girls) and basketball (girls and boys) while learning about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Participants also learn strong character values and broaden their self-esteem, all while having fun in a safe and enjoyable environment. Game days are every Saturday in January and February, with weekly practice beginning in November.
Trail Life USA is a Christian outdoor adventure, character and leadership program for boys and young men. Our troop is open to boys in Kindergarten through 12th grade. We have regular events such as campouts and fishing.
While adults attend Core Groups, children ages birth through 6th grade enjoy enriching study of God’s Word in age-appropriate ways. Sunday School starts at 9:30 am, with check in beginning at 9:15 am. Visit the Children’s Welcome Desk inside the North doors to find out which classroom is right for your child.
We recommend families with young children attend the 10:45 am service, as it is the only one with coinciding children’s programming. Children from birth to 5 years play and learn together in their age-appropriate classrooms (if they were in Sunday School, they stay in the room you checked them into). Kindergarteners through 4th graders enjoy the music portion of worship service with their parents, then are dismissed for Worship KidStyle in the Multipurpose Room. An dismissal announcement is shown on the large screens at the front of the sanctuary. Teachers wait for the children just outside the Sanctuary doors to lead them to the Multipurpose Room, where you will pick up your children after service.
For security purposes, parents or legal guardians must sign their children in and out of their classrooms.
